A free Wi-Fi connection for both event leads and delegates is available when hiring a room at the Priory Street Centre.
Available is also a wide range of charged-for audio-visual equipment to tailor to your event. All prices exclude VAT.
We cannot accept responsibility for any technical issues unrelated to our audio-visual and presentation equipment on the day. If you do not require our equipment and will be providing your own, please include this in your booking form.

Media Screens and Projectors
The use of a projector or media screen (with or without the use of one of our laptops) from £36.05.
- The Main Hall has a ceiling-mounted Panasonic PT-DW640 HDMI projector.
- The Denham, Clementhorpe and Micklegate rooms have Philips professional screens.
- The Fishergate and Foxwood rooms require the booking of a portable projector.
PA System – Main Hall Only
The use of PA system from £15.45. Included in this is:
- A lectern microphone
- x2 roving wireless microphones.
These are pre-set and pre-configured and work alongside the hearing loop.
We also have additional wired microphones and a lapel mic available. Speak to a member of the bookings team when enquiring if you are interested in hiring these.
Hearing Loop
The service is FOC.
All rooms apart from the Micklegate room are integrated with a fully functioning hearing loop. These have been installed by the Action on Hearing Loss (formerly RNID)
We can also provide individual handheld loop equipment if required, which can also be used in the Micklegate room. Please speak to a member of the bookings team when enquiring.
Flipchart and Stationery Pack
Use of the flipchart pad and pens from £8.24.
This includes x1 flipchart pad, x1 flipchart stand and a selection of board pens.
Hybrid Meetings
Use of the Meeting Owl Pro 360 Camera is £20.60.
The Meeting Owl works to create an immersive hybrid meeting experience. It does so by using its 360-degree camera with auto-tracking, mic, and speaker to capture the room’s movement.
By intelligently focusing in on whoever is speaking, the Owl facilitates natural collaboration allowing for face-to-face interactions even through a screen.
The Meeting Owls are most compatible in our smaller rooms: Foxwood, Fishergate, Micklegate and Clementhorpe; however, they can be connected for use in the Denham room also. For functionality, the Owl must remain in a fixed position, either focused on the speaker or the crowd in the Main Hall.
The Meeting Owls are compatible with Zoom, Teams, Google Meet and many other platforms.
Please note, the Meeting Owls require the use of the projector or media screen.
